Work on a Current Idea or Company at the Startup Bootcamp on April 4th Are you an aspiring entrepreneur with a game-changing idea? Ready to take your startup to the next level? On April 4th at 4pm, Georgetown Entrepreneurship is launching its inaugural Startup Bootcamp—an immersive experience designed to connect early-stage founders with expert mentors, strategic guidance, and the resources needed to accelerate their ventures. The Georgetown Ecopreneurship Pitch Competition challenges student teams to develop an innovative, feasible solution to improve the sustainability of Georgetown's DC neighborhood and campuses. Two winning teams will receive awards of up to $3,000, as well as project development mentorship, to actually implement their solutions. The competition will be April 12 9AM-6PM (Hariri case room 240) and will be preceded by an optional introductory workshop on April 5 3-5PM (Hariri case room 140), both on Georgetown's main campus. These events are a great way to meet other students, mentors, professionals, and Georgetown community members (faculty, staff, operations) who are knowledgeable about sustainability, and no experience or prior team creation is required! A light breakfast and lunch will be served at the event.
