Keynote Investors Panel at Venture in the Capital 2025

This investor panel at Georgetown’s 2025 Venture in the Capital Conference, moderated by Devon Pasieka (MSB’25) and Jorge Guajardo Sada (SFS’26), featured Craig Shapiro of Collaborative Fund, Eddy Chan of Intudo Ventures, Marcie Vu of Greycroft and Tobi Coker of Felicis. The introduction noted that Chan holds a law degree from Georgetown and Coker a bachelor’s degree from Georgetown.

Panelists explained why downturns can favor founders: less competition for capital, easier hiring and the discipline that comes with constraints. As one put it, “constraints breed innovation.” They discussed how AI is changing headcount and burn rates, why software and ad models that work in Silicon Valley may not fit emerging markets such as Indonesia, and how the founders of Collaborative Fund and Intudo found overlooked niches. Their advice for aspiring investors and founders was to be authentic and to do what you say you will do.
