Announcing the Georgetown Startup
Accelerator - Coming February 2021!
The Georgetown Venture Lab
The Georgetown Venture Lab is dedicated to supporting alumni entrepreneurs through startup programming, access to valued business resources, and connections to the greater Georgetown community. The Venture Lab is operated by Georgetown Entrepreneurship, an initiative of the McDonough School of Business.
Georgetown alumni entrepreneurs from all industries, locations, and company growth stages are invited to apply for membership at the Venture Lab. We know that starting and scaling a business is challenging, and we’re here to help. Through curated programming, a vibrant community of fellow founders, dedicated partners, and experienced mentors, the Venture Lab’s network of support is ready to assist you and your startup.
While taking a temporary pause from operating a physical space, the Venture Lab looks forward to its re-opening at a co-working space in downtown Washington, DC in July 2021. Sign up for our newsletter below to make sure you receive the latest updates on our new space!
The Georgetown Venture Lab is supported by Ted Leonsis (C’77, P’14, P’15), a longtime entrepreneur, investor, and founder, majority owner, chairman, and CEO of Monumental Sports & Entertainment; his wife, Lynn; his son, Zach (MBA’15), senior vice president of strategic initiatives of Monumental Sports & Entertainment and general manager of Monumental Sports Network; and his daughter, Elle (C’14), digital marketing director of SnagFilms, Inc.
