The Entrepreneur in Residence (EiR) Program is one of the primary ways that we connect the Georgetown campus to the “real world” of entrepreneurship. Accomplished entrepreneurs – some of whom are Georgetown alumni – are on campus throughout the term to act as mentors and advisors to students.

These members of the Georgetown University faculty are actively involved in the research and teaching of entrepreneurship. The group includes both academics spanning a broad range of disciplines as well as experienced practitioners. They are committed to supporting the Georgetown Entrepreneurship Initiative and to working with students to demystify the process of starting and growing a new venture.

Bob Bies
Professor of Management and Founder of the Executive Master’s in Leadership Program at the McDonough School of Business at Georgetown University.

Melissa Bradley
Tri-sector leader with more than 20 years of entrepreneurship, investment, and leadership experience. Currently, she is a Professor of Practice at the McDonough School of Business at Georgetown University where she teaches impact investing, social entrepreneurship, P2P economics and innovation.

Jason Brennan
Assistant Professor of Strategy, and of Economics, Ethics and Public Policy at the McDonough School of Business. His classes include: Moral Foundations of Market Society, and Social Responsibility of Business.

Peter Jaworski
Assistant Teaching Professor of business ethics. He is a Senior Fellow with the Canadian Constitution Foundation, and a Director of the Institute for Liberal Studies. Along with Jason Brennan, Peter is the author of “Markets without Limits: Moral Virtues and Commercial Interests” published in 2015.

Sandeep Dahiya
Faculty of the McDonough School of Business since 1999. Professor Dahiya spent two years working in the Corporate Finance and Strategy practice of McKinsey & Company, a leading strategy consulting firm. He worked with CEOs and CFOs of Fortune 500 firms in Healthcare, Financial Services, and Chemical industries focusing on Valuation, Mergers & Acquisitions, Capital Markets and Risk Management issues.

J.S. Gamble
Adjunct Professor of Strategy in the McDonough School of Business teaching entrepreneurship. His fields of expertise are Wireless and Broadband Telecom, and management consulting.

Shye Gilad

Arun Gupta
Adjunct Professor at Georgetown Business School teaching Entrepreneurial Finance/Venture Capital. He also focuses on Federal/Cyber IT Services investments at Columbia Capital.

James Hunt
Adjunct Professor of Management and Strategy in the McDonough School of Business with more than 10 years of experience teaching entrepreneurship. He is also part of the Small Business Clinic on campus.

Eric Koester
Adjunct Professor in the McDonough School of Business teaching several MBA-level entrepreneurship classes: Startup Factory, Customer Discovery MBA Tutorial, Lean Startup MBA Tutorial.

Alyssa Lovegrove
Experienced business executive with a career spanning banking, management consulting, consumer retailing, and non-profit sectors in the US and UK. Her current focus is social entrepreneurship and social impact ventures – including the launch of social impact businesses and the unique challenges of managing “double and triple bottom line” organizations.

Dale Murphy
Associate Professor at the Walsh School of Foreign Service. His specialties include commercial and social entrepreneurship startups and angel investment networks. He is an expert in global issues at the juncture of the public and private sectors, and he has worked on international political economy, business-government relations, corporate social responsibility (CSR), democratization, and international security.

Jeff Reid
Adjunct Professor of strategy at the McDonough School of Business and the founding director of the the Georgetown Entrepreneurship Initiative. A proven strategic leader in the arenas of entrepreneurship, venture capital, education, technology, and economic development Reid believes strongly in the power of entrepreneurial communities and networks to create social value.

Jean Rosauer
Adjunct Professor at the Georgetown McDonough School of Business and founder of Fuel Growth Group, an international marketing strategy firm. She partners with technology CEOs to accelerate company growth and transform industries.

Dr. Elizabeth Page Sigman
Distinguished Teaching Professor at the McDonough School of Business. Specializing in technology, social media, electronic commerce, and information systems. She is a faculty associate for the Center for Business and Public Policy and the Capital Markets Research Center, and serves as a Technology, Learning and Teaching Fellow for the Center for New Designs in Learning Systems.

Sarah Stilles
Visiting Assistant Professor in the Georgetown Department of Sociology, teaching undergraduate courses including: Introduction to Sociology; Flourishing: College & Community; Race, Society, and Cinema CBL; The Contemporary City CBL; Social Entrepreneurship/Change; Law & Society; Community Involvement Seminar CBL; Sociology Senior Seminar.

Sezer Ulku
Associate Professor at the McDonough School of Business. His research focuses on innovation, new product development, entrepreneurship, outsourcing, private equity, supply chain management, and retail operations. His research has been published in leading management journals, including Management Science, Manufacturing and Service Operations, and Transactions on Engineering Management.
