Thank you,
David.
David Lange became Georgetown Entrepreneurship’s first Program Manager for Experiential Learning in June 2019, pioneering incredible student engagement initiatives and elevating the entrepreneurial experience for thousands of Georgetown University staff and students. Georgetown Entrepreneurship is proud and gracious for David to have joined our Hoya community.
Through his leadership at Georgetown Entrepreneurship, David has embodied the Spirit at Georgetown by fostering People for Others, Community in Diversity, and Care for Our Common Home. He partnered with dozens of startups in the D.C. Metropolitan area and across the country to launch Georgetown Startup Interns, a program that offered entrepreneurial students an opportunity to intern at a startup, asynchronous in-depth skills workshops taught by outstanding entrepreneurs and inspirational guest speakers, and career coaches. He created our Black Hoya-Owned Businesses, Women Hoya-Owned Businesses, and Holiday Gift Guide marketing campaigns to help promote our Hoyapreneurs tackling some of the world’s most pressing challenges.
David has dedicated his life to improving the world. He is the author of A Farm on Every Corner which discusses how food production can be redesigned to improve environmental sustainability. His work in this field has been recognized by his induction to the Washington Business Journal and DC Inno 25 Under 25 class of 2021 and by the McDonough Business School at large.
It has been such a joy and pleasure for Georgetown Entrepreneurship to have David Lange. We will miss his unmatched energy at pitch competitions, ability to hoist gigantic checks, and passion he brought to every room. Thank you, David.
David Lange is the author of A Farm on Every Corner. A Farm on Every Corner takes an unflinching look at the state of America’s food system and how wasteful, inefficient, and unsustainable practices at every step of the supply chain have us hurtling towards a bleak future. In its a place, a radical decentralization and localization of food production and a transformation of how our country grows, ships, eats, and disposes of its food are critical for a more sustainable, robust, equitable, profitable, resilient, healthier, and tastier future.
