Lucinda Bakken

Lucinda is a Georgetown University alumna and the Assistant Director of Marketing & Events at Georgetown Entrepreneurship, where she helps bring together students, alumni, and entrepreneurs to celebrate and advance innovation on campus. She graduated from the McDonough School of Business in 2025 with a degree in Finance and Management.

A passionate entrepreneur herself, Lucinda has founded and bootstrapped three businesses, including her current venture, which she continues to scale alongside her role at Georgetown. She has also worked for two Y Combinator startups, giving her insight into the fast-paced world of venture creation.

Deeply connected to the Georgetown entrepreneurship community, Lucinda has participated in Summer Launch Incubator, the Georgetown Ventures Accelerator, numerous pitch competitions, all while serving as a teaching assistant and mentor to aspiring founders. She is especially passionate about making entrepreneurship accessible and building businesses that prioritize ethics and social impact alongside growth.
