ECOprenuership Pitch Workshop

The Georgetown Ecopreneurship Pitch Competition challenges student teams to develop an innovative, feasible solution to improve the sustainability of Georgetown's DC neighborhood and campuses. Two winning teams will receive awards of up to $3,000, as well as project development mentorship, to actually implement their solutions. The competition will be April 12 9AM-6PM (Hariri case room 240) and will be preceded by an optional introductory workshop on April 5 3-5PM (Hariri case room 140), both on Georgetown's main campus. These events are a great way to meet other students, mentors, professionals, and Georgetown community members (faculty, staff, operations) who are knowledgeable about sustainability, and no experience or prior team creation is required! A light breakfast and lunch will be served at the event. Fill out the interest form here!

Startup Africa Summit

StartupAfrica Summit 2025 is the first event of its kind at Georgetown University, organized by the Georgetown African Business Alliance at the McDonough School of Business, in partnership with Georgetown Entrepreneurship, the African Studies Program, the Africa Forum, Afrika Policy Student Association and the African Society of Georgetown.
