David Gardner
Keynote Speaker
David Gardner is Chief Rule Breaker at The Motley Fool, a financial services company he co-founded in 1993 alongside his brother Tom. The Motley Fool’s purpose is to make the world smarter, happier, and richer, and to that end, David has picked stocks for a worldwide membership for 26 years, and hosted his own weekly podcast Rule Breaker Investing since 2015.
S. Tien Wong

Mr. S. Tien Wong is a technology entrepreneur, CEO, and angel investor. He is Chairman & CEO of Opus8, Inc., a private investment and strategic advisory firm specializing in raising capital for private equity and venture capital fund managers, as well as promising tech companies. He is also chairman of Tech 2000, Inc. and Lore Systems and founder and host of the Big Idea CONNECTpreneur Forum. He currently serves as an Entrepreneur in Residence at Georgetown University.

Brian is the Global Chief Marketing Officer of EVERFI, a Washington, D.C. based SaaS software company focused on critical skills education. EVERFI has raised over $250M from investors including Texas Pacific Group, New Enterprise Associates, Jeff Bezos, Warren Buffett, Sir Richard Branson, Alphabet’s Eric Schmidt, Twitter’s Evan Williams, Laurene Powell-Jobs, and U2’s Bono. The company operates in 30,000 K-12 schools and higher education institutions in collaboration with 2,000+ private sector partners that include numerous Fortune 500 companies, the NFL, NBA, NHL, MLS, Premier League, and over 150 sports teams and athletes.
JP Coakley

JP is the cofounder of Two Birds, a new coworking space in DC with fully licensed childcare. He and his business partner, Kelsey Lents, graduated from the McDonough School of Business in 2018.
Steve Taylor
Panelist
Steve Taylor is Lyft’s Regional Director for New York and the Mid-Atlantic. He began his professional career at the United States Naval Academy after which he served for nine years as a Naval Flight Officer. During his final tour he served at the White House supporting continuity of operations and emergency response plans. After his military service, Steve completed a Masters in Policy Management from Georgetown University and shortly after joined the management consulting firm PRTM where he advanced the development of a resiliency framework helping clients develop risk-based strategies. After PRTM was acquired by PwC in 2012 Steve shifted his focus to the investment and incubation of new firm-developed service offerings. He currently serves as an Entrepreneur in Residence at Georgetown University.
Patricia Henriques
Patricia Henriques is a relationship-driven entrepreneur, who founded and led Management Alternatives Inc. for 20 years from start-up to an industry-recognized, national leader in corporate relocation management. The company specialized in complex, large-scale, operations-intensive projects throughout the country. Among its most notable projects was the transition of operations of the Pittsburgh International Airport overnight. After a successful exit in 2002, she founded The Henlee Group, advising and coaching entrepreneurs in emerging and high growth companies. She currently serves as Adjunct Professor & Entrepreneur in Residence at Georgetown University.
