FOR ENTREPRENEURSHIP

The Yellow House, at 1239 37th St, is our new student HQ for entrepreneurship-related conversation and gatherings at Georgetown. Our mission is to foster an inclusive and dynamic community to increase the level of engagement in entrepreneurship at Georgetown. The Yellow House is a casual and fun space for students to come and share ideas or just hang out and we’ll also be hosting events on a regular basis throughout the year!

Entrepreneurship-related clubs and student startups are welcome to use the Yellow house for meetings and working sessions. Please email yellowhouse@georgetown.edu to inquire about availability.

RESIDENTS 2021-22

LAISSA AW (NHS'22)

I am a senior from Monmouth County, New Jersey majoring in Human Science. I am interested in healthcare consulting and hope to own my own medical practices in the future. In my free time I enjoy trying new restaurants and traveling with friends.

RESHAUN EDWARDS (C’23)

I am a junior from New York majoring in Biology of Global Health on the pre-med track. I am a member of the biology department’s DEI working group that advocates for equitable learning opportunities within the science community. I enjoy learning about skincare and astrology in my spare time.

NADIYA FLOWERS (C’23)

I’m a junior from Newark, NJ. Since the pandemic has began I have started my brand Necessities by Nadiya. I am a hairstylist and I also sell different hair products including hair extensions and hair growth oil.

JEWELL JOHNSON (C'23)

I currently am a junior hoping to focus on Sports Management in the future. I’m from New Orleans, Louisiana where I am involved in a nonprofit organization that educates young children about entrepreneurship. My favorite thing to do in the DC area is interact with the local students through the Grassroots Program!

MEGAN NGUYEN (SFS’22)

I am a senior from Revere, MA majoring in Science, Technology, and International Affairs. As an Entrepreneurship Fellow, I am involved with Georgetown Entrepreneurship and Georgetown Ventures. Outside of school, I love exploring new cities and discovering music.

THOMAS TERAVAINEN (C’22)

I am a senior in the college studying Government, STIA, and History. I am involved with the Corp and have interned with a sustainable development consulting firm. In my free time I enjoy spending time in the outdoors and exploring DC’s restaurant scene!
