Jonathan Blanchard is the CEO of ETI Precision of Frederick, MD. ETI calibrates, repairs, and manufactures electrical test and measurement equipment. Jon acquired ETI from its retiring owners in 2018 via a search fund with the support of the Search Fund Accelerator. Since acquisition, ETI has grown from 19 to over 50 employees and added satellite locations in Charlotte, NC and Dallas, TX.
ETI specializes in nationwide onsite calibration services, serving data centers, utilities, universities, municipalities, manufacturers, hospitals, government facilities, and electrical testing companies across the country. Prior to launching a search fund, Jon spent six years in economic consulting and technology startups in Boston, MA and Washington, DC. He holds a MBA’13 from Georgetown University and a BA from Bates College. Jon is a member of the DC Chapter of Entrepreneurs’ Organization (EO) and lives with his wife, daughter, and their dog in Rockville, MD.
