Jill Monk is an Entrepreneur in Residence at Georgetown University with expertise in product development, customer discovery, product market fit, and sales and marketing strategy. She has three decades of experience across a range of industries spanning technology, education, media, and wellness.  Leveraging her experience at Xerox and Johnson & Johnson, Jill found her entrepreneurial spirit in Silicon Valley. There, she started and ran a venture-backed education technology business. Later, she was recruited to be the first head of strategy for the National Geographic Society.

Currently, she is working on her third venture, which is in the wellness space. Passionate about learning, teaching, and co-creating, Jill has actively coached more than a hundred students as an Entrepreneur in Residence at Georgetown University and a Mentor at the i.Lab at the University of Virginia Darden School of Business, the National Science Foundation I-Corps Program at George Washington University, 1776, and the Cherie Blair Foundation for Women.  

Jill holds an MBA from Harvard Business School and a BA from John Carroll University.
