Brian Cooley is the Global Chief Marketing Officer of EVERFI, a Washington, D.C. based SaaS software company focused on critical skills education. EVERFI has raised over $250M from investors including Texas Pacific Group, New Enterprise Associates, Jeff Bezos, Warren Buffett, Sir Richard Branson, Alphabet's Eric Schmidt, Twitter's Evan Williams, Laurene Powell-Jobs, and U2's Bono. The company operates in 30,000 K-12 schools and higher education institutions in collaboration with 2,500+ private sector partners that include numerous Fortune 500 companies, the NFL, NHL, MLB, Premier League, MLS, and over 150 sports teams and athletes.
In his seven years at EVERFI, Brian served as the organization’s first CMO helping to grow the company to over $120M in annual recurring revenue and from 40 employees to over 600. As a long-time marketer, Brian has developed a passion for building powerful global brands, fostering loyal communities and growing revenue. He has led B2C and B2B marketing teams in the sports marketing industry, in the automotive sector with Land Rover North America, and in the educational technology industry with IBM and Blackboard. Prior to joining EVERFI, he spent six years expanding Blackboard’s global education impact while overseeing branding, communications, demand generation and marketing operations practices. Brian has developed strong global perspective and experience while growing up in Thailand, Venezuela and South Africa, and traveling to over 50 countries. Having completed undergraduate and graduate degrees at Georgetown University, he is a big fan of all things Hoya.
